Zuko: For so long now I thought if my dad accepted me, I'd be happy. I'm back home now, my dad talks to me, he even thinks I'm a hero! Everything should be perfect, right? I should be happy now, but I'm not! I'm angrier than ever and I don't know why.
Azula: There's a simple question you need to answer, then. Who are you angry at?
Zuko: No one. I'm just... angry.
Mai: Yeah, who are you angry at, Zuko?

(Zuko's eyes start to dart back and forth anxiously, as the questions start to come faster than he can answer them)
Azula: Is it Dad?
Zuko: No, no.
Ty Lee: Your uncle?
Azula: Me?
Zuko: No! No, no, no!
(the questions almost start to overlap)
Mai: Then who? Who are you angry at?
Azula: Answer the question, Zuko.
Ty Lee: Talk to us!
Mai: Come on, answer the question.
Azula: Come on, answer it.
Zuko: I'M ANGRY AT MYSELF!
(the campfire suddenly and briefly flares into a column of fire)
Azula: Why?
Zuko: Because I'm confused. Because I'm not sure I know the difference between right and wrong anymore.
Azula: (disgusted) You're pathetic.
(Beat. Mai stands up and goes over to Zuko and puts her arm around him.)
Mai: I know one thing I care about. I care about you.
(Zuko and Mai kiss, and for half a second, there is peace and calm. And then Azula spoils it by clapping.)
Azula: Well, those were wonderful performances everyone.
Zuko: I guess you wouldn't understand, would you, Azula? Because you're just so perfect.
Azula: Well yes, I guess you're right. I don't have sob stories like all of you. I could sit here and complain how mom liked Zuko more then me, but I don't really care. (frowns and looks down at the fire) My own mother thought I was a monster...
(pause)
Azula: She was right of course. But it still hurt.
Chapter 12 : The Western Air Temple
Zuko: Hello, Zuko here. But I guess you probably already know me, sort of. Uh so, the thing is I have a lot of Firebending experience and I'm considered to be pretty good at it. Well you've seen me... you know when I was attacking you? Uh yeah, I guess I should apologize for that, but anyway I'm good now. I mean, I thought I was good before but now I realize I was bad, but anyway... I think it's time I joined your group and taught the Avatar Firebending.
(Camera zooms out to show Zuko is talking to a big frog. The frog croaks)
Zuko: [yelling] Well, what's your answer!?
(The frog jumps on Zuko's head, then leaps away)
Zuko: Yeah, that's what I'd say too.
(Zuko is alone)
Zuko: How am I supposed to convince these people that I'm on their side? What would uncle do? (imitating Iroh) Zuko, you have to look within yourself to save yourself from your other self. Only then will your true self reveal itself. Ugh, even when I'm talking for him I can't figure out what he means. What would Azula do? (imitating Azula) Listen Avatar, I can join your group or I can do something unspeakably horrible to you and your friends, your choice! (looks at frog) I guess I'm not that good at impersonations.

Chapter 20 : Sozin's Comet, Into to Inferno
(Zuko and Azula are about to begin their Agni Kai)
Azula: I'm sorry it has to end this way, Brother.
Zuko: No, you're not.
(Zuko and Azula's ferocious Agni Kai has been going on, with Zuko nearing victory. Azula tiring from the duel, but becoming more angry with every move. Zuko manages to knock Azula off her feet. She gets up breathing heavily with furious eyes at her brother.)
Zuko: No lightning today? What's the matter? Afraid I'll redirect it?
Azula: Oh. I'LL SHOW YOU LIGHTNING!
(Generates a powerful amount of lightning, while Zuko breathes and prepares to redirect the lightning, just as Azula is about to strike she sees Katara, vulnerable. She decides to shoot Katara. Zuko sees the lightning is heading for her, and jumps in the way to save her.)
Zuko: NO!
(Zuko redirects most of the lightning, but forgets to direct some of it through his stomach, and is badly injured. He moans in pain.)
Katara: ZUKO!
(Katara tries to run to Zuko to heal him, but Azula stops her by shooting more lightning at her, just barely missing her. Azula laughs menacingly and prepares to kill Katara)
Chapter 21 : Sozin's Comet, Avatar Aang
Zuko: Mai! You're okay! They let you out of prison?
Mai: My uncle pulled some strings. And it doesn't hurt when the new Fire Lord is your boyfriend.
Zuko: So does it mean you don't hate me anymore
Mai: I think it means, I actually kind of like you.
(They kiss, but then Mai jabs a threatening finger into Zuko's chest)
Mai: But don't ever break up with me again.
(Zuko smiles sheepishly)
Zuko: I can't believe a year ago my purpose in life was hunting you down. And now...
Aang: And now we're friends.
Zuko: (he looks away a little, touched) Yeah, we are friends.
Aang: I can't believe a year ago I was still frozen in a block of ice. The world's so different now. (Zuko walks up to him)
Zuko: And it's gonna be even more different. We're gonna build it together.
(Zuko embraces Aang, and together they head out to meet the crowds.)
Sokka: Zuko stop moving! I'm trying to capture the moment! I wanted to do a painting so we always remember the good times together.
Katara: That's very thoughtful of you, Sokka. (sees the painting) Wait! Why did you give me Momo's ears?
Sokka: Those are your hair loopies!
Zuko: At least you don't look like a boar-q-pine! My hair is not that spiky!
Mai: I look like a man.
Suki: And why did you paint me Firebending?
Sokka: I thought it would look more exciting that way.
(Momo makes a sound)
Sokka: Oh, you think you can do a better job, Momo?
Iroh: Hey, my belly is not that big anymore. I really trimmed down.
Toph: Well, I think you all look perfect.
(They all laugh because Toph is blind so she can't see Sokka's painting)
